Update on Atlanta Heroes 6K

An update to our dedicated stigma breakers,

We are sad to say that the Atlanta Heroes 6K on June 30 will be cancelled and not be taking place this year. We unfortunately will not be able to pull together the appropriate resources needed to make an event all of our participants deserve. We recognize how important this event is to the community and the importance of raising awareness for the addiction and mental health community in Atlanta.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused once again during the change of events. We appreciate all of the love and support from the Heroes community and hope you will follow along on our journey as we plan for a better 2019. The Heroes mission has always been about bringing together a community to support the local communities and break the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health issues. It is our intention to continue spreading this mission as we move forward.

We will be issuing refunds to registered participants. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our team with any questions or concerns you may have. Email: [email protected]

Sincerely,

The Heroes in Recovery Team

Heroes in Recovery is honored to support Right Side Up  which offers long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment for women with dependent children under the age of 13. Women need a safe, structured environment to develop the skills necessary to achieve lasting recovery. RSU’s services are designed to help clients obtain employment, restore relationships with their loved ones, retain and/or regain custody of their children, give birth to drug-free infants and become valuable, productive members of the community. MARR continues to set the standard in long-term, gender-specific addiction treatment for chemically dependent men and women. Dedicated staff members are committed to bringing each client lifelong recovery through intensive, high-quality programs that are centered on the therapeutic community model. They walk with clients for life.
