I found your website and I must say it is very encouraging! I’d like to share a story of a young man I have come to know…
He was raised in a preacher’s home, was at church all the time and really knew his Bible. Somewhere along the way, he decided that it was not the life for him and he went in a totally different and destructive direction.
After a few years of drug abuse, theft and jail time, his parents were able to get him into a recovery program. The judge let him move into this program rather than giving him prison time. Bruce made the decision to stick with it and came out a truly changed young man. Finally, the Bible head knowledge he had became heart knowledge as well and he is absolutely on fire for the Lord. He married a great girl, has kids and is now ministering at his own church. You would never know by meeting him today that he caused himself and others so much pain and destruction.
His past is not pleasant at all for him to talk about, but his present and future is and he is quick to tell other how they can be changed as well. The Bible states that, “The one who is forgiven much, loves much.” That certainly describes him!
There is no need for anyone reading this website to feel hopeless! Be encouraged and seek help!
