Dereck M. suffered from a Drug Overdose on March 24, 2012 which resulted in an Anoxic Brain Injury. Dereck went into heart, liver and kidney failure, with a slim chance of survival. Doctors then declared him in Vegetative State.
We have been blessed with Gods healing miracles as Dereck strives everyday to get his life back. Our family shares all elements of our journey, the pain, the suffering, the trails and triumphs as well as our hope and determination for Derecks recovery.
Our mission is to share Dereck’s story in hopes to inspire others whom may be struggling with Substance Abuse to seek treatment and make a U Turn For LIFE.
