- Alcohol
- Drugs
I went from being hooked on four different drugs and alcohol to losing 50 pounds, getting 13 months clean, buying my dream BMW, paying my mother’s bills, becoming my family’s first college graduate, becoming an international author, and more in ONE YEAR!! I DIDN’T BEAT ADDICTION!!!! I DECIDED TO MAKE SUCCESS MY ADDICTION. Now I want to share my discovery with the world. There’s more to life; I can help save them.
Even the thugs I hung out with were terrified to associate with me in fear that they’d be around me when I finally had an overdose that I wouldn’t live through. I’ve had three near-death experiences that a movie scene couldn’t even give justice to. The day it began to click was the Ohio State vs Michigan game in 2014, when four different people mentioned they were worried I was going to die soon, in ONE DAY!!!! It was not planned…I made the decision in a cold shower under the influence of three drugs biting onto a towel and begging for my life, to contact my father and move back in with him. Getting clean made me an animal and I don’t know one person working as hard as me to spread my name now.
Success is the best high there is. I can share that with the world.
I moved in with my dad, but didn’t even tell him it was because of a drug problem. I just claimed my roommate was a criminal that I didn’t know about beforehand and needed to get away from him. I GOT MYSELF HELP!! I TURNED MY OWN LIFE AROUND!! Because, if you want to be somebody, you need to be disciplined. You can’t depend on the world to do everything for you. All you need to do IS FIND SOMETHING WORTH FIGHTING FOR and that’s exactly what I did.
I discovered that my dream was to land a movie deal about my life and that you don’t need drugs to escape your home life, or your finances, or stressful situations. YOUR FAMILY CAN BECOME YOUR DRUG!! YOUR DREAMS CAN FUND YOUR FINANCES!!
Having a dream to hold onto, your family being so proud that they want to cry when they see you, that’s a high that I can’t even put into words and I’m described as a wordsmith.
Just know that when you see me, I’m stronger every day. I’m smarter every day. I’m working harder every day. I’m grateful every day. My life is perfect. When I die, I just hope they let me hit the rewind button and do it all again. EVERYTHING. EVERY mistake, EVERY drug, EVERY woman. You know why? Because it made me the man I am today. It showed me there’s more to life. It gave me a chance to understand happiness is found within life itself, not the artificial substances that we as human beings have created while here on Earth. You want to know what my life is like today? Euphoric. I’m just grateful I was chosen to be the one that shares this story.
