What made you decide to come to the Heroes 6K Race in Palm Springs?
I’m living in a sober living house where I’m learning structure and how to make good decisions.
What made you decide to get into recovery?
I was headed down the wrong path, a very wrong path. I started using at 14 and I am now 25. I lost my kids to the system, but not for good. I’m willing to do everything to get my children back, for their sake and mine.
What advice would you give to someone that’s struggling to get help and really needs it?
It’s not easy and it will be a long road. But if you are willing to do it and have faith, it is worth it. Just take it one step at a time.
