What made you decide to come to the Heroes 6K Race in Palm Springs?
I am in recovery myself and I wanted to come volunteer and support the Heroes cause. I think it would be a good cause for everybody.
What made you decide to get into recovery?
It was the supportive lifestyle and living a healthier sober life.
How have you noticed changes in your life since you got into recovery versus when you were actively in addiction?
Well, now there is little to no chaos and everything has been going pretty smoothly for me in my life.
What was the hardest part about initially stepping out and getting in to recovery?
It was probably coming out and admitting that I was an addict.
What advice would you give to someone that’s struggling to get help and really needs it?
I would strongly suggest reaching out your hand. Anyone in recovery will not judge you for anything you have done. Everyone really just wants to help.
